|Why Choose Triangle Cross Boys Ranch?|
Welcome to Triangle Cross Boys Ranch
Triangle Cross Boys Ranch is a program designed for troubled teens and at-risk youths as an alternative to Teen Boot Camps, Brat Camps, military schools, boarding schools, or traditional behavioral modification programs. We are owned by a Catholic family who utilizes a unique therapeutic approach that focuses on building the Christian virtues within the struggling adolescent. Located in the vicinity of Yellowstone National Park in northwestern Wyoming , TCBR is a “real working cattle ranch” that offers students an authentic western experience, far from the temptations of drugs, alcohol, sex, and peer pressure. We believe that the culture we provide on a family operated cattle ranch is successful in educating the mind, strengthening the body, and elevating the spirit of our students. With over 23 years of experience, TCBR will not only repair the damaged self-esteem of the struggling adolescent, but will also help mend the relationships that his poor decisions have negatively impacted. It is through a focus on Christian morality that allows the youth to become conscience of the ways in which his bad behavior hurts others. We believe that every boy who comes to Triangle Cross Ranch is intrinsically good and capable of receiving the help to better their lives!
Our approach at Triangle Cross Boys Ranch is based on Christian principles of personal growth through change, honesty, trust, and experiencing the beauty of God’s creation in nature. Through our “paternal teachings” and “reality therapy” the young man’s mind and heart are renewed and unfolded as God created him. We employ this philosophy in all of our day to day activities in this program. We are a family; a group of people involved in the total sharing of our lives. We know that change happens as a result of meaningful sharing and honest relationships. We also know that growth in the areas of honesty, trust, moral integrity, improved relationships, responsibility and stress management will reduce your son’s dependence on unmanageable behavior, thus increasing your son’s ability to find joy, purpose and fulfillment in his life.
Triangle Cross Ranch is owned by Jerry Schneider who has over 23 years of experience in helping struggling teenage boys reform their lives. By using Jerry’s unique mentoring philosophies in a farm and ranch environment, Triangle Cross Boys Ranch will instill in your son the traditional ethics and values upheld in our “cowboy culture.” In fact, our predecessor program, was featured in the film The Code of the West: Alive and Well in Wyoming,* where the inherent therapeutic value of the cowboy lifestyle is explained and celebrated.
Triangle Cross Boys Ranch's program for troubled teens helps teenage boys get off of drugs and stay drug free through reality therapy and a proven effective substance abuse recovery program. Our approach to this complex issue of substance abuse is to go beyond the label of a disease to the realization that it is a choice and thus with proper motivation a person can chose what makes them really happy over the temporary illusion of happiness that drugs and alcohol give. By exposing at-risk teens to a culture that promotes the simplicity and earnestness of ranch work, Triangle Cross Ranch frees the child from material frivolities and makes him aware that happiness and plenitude come from within one’s own heart.
Unlike many other troubled teen boot camps, at Triangle Boys Cross Ranch we recognize that each young man who comes to our program is unique, precious, and unrepeatable. By placing emphasis on Christian moral principles, these at-risk teens are challenged to develop a new perspective on life. Healing begins when these young men recognize that life is sacred, and they can help to make it so by discovering their God-given talents in His wonderful creation.
We hope that by navigating our web site you will find that the location of our program is an ideal atmosphere where your son will develop the integrity and character that defines what it is to be a “man.” The length of Triangle Cross Boys Ranch’s program is determined by the needs of your child and the personal goals you have for him.
