A Family Ranch for Struggling Boys
How do we help troubled boys? "By unfolding the boy's mind as God created him on a 40,000 acre working cattle ranch located in the greater Yellowstone National Park ecological system of Montana."
About Us: Triangle Cross Family Ranch provides an experiential educational opportunity for struggling teenage boys. Although we are not under the direct auspices of the Catholic Church, we are a Catholic family who utilizes a unique healing approach that focuses on building the Christian virtues within the adolescent. Located on 40,000 acres in the shadow of the Beartooth Mountains, Triangle Cross Ranch is a “real working cattle ranch (and farm)” that offers students an authentic western experience.
At our ranch, each boy and his family will have ownership of livestock, creating a joint enterprise in the care and finances of beef cattle. We provide ownership of livestock and agricultural training to create a small business with you and your son. We feel that the collaboration between the young man and his family with their small business will become a rewarding experience that will help the boy mature with dignity and joy.
We believe that engagement with livestock and other agricultural activities is instrumental in educating the mind, strengthening the body, and elevating the spirit. With over 22 years of experience, our family ranch will not only repair the damaged self-esteem of the struggling adolescent, but will also help mend family relationships that his poor decisions have negatively impacted. It is through our focus on Christian morality that allows the youth to become conscience of the ways in which his bad behavior hurts others. We believe that every boy who comes to Triangle Cross Family Ranch is intrinsically good and capable of receiving the help to better their lives!
